WHAT'S ACTUALLY IN AN ENERGY GEL?
Built for cheap mass manufacturing.

Still 27g of carbs per gel. Read the ingredients: there's almost nothing to read.
THE NUMBERS
How much caffeine is 30mg?
Around a third of a typical coffee. Easy to count: two or three gels across a race is still under one strong coffee's worth.
Will it upset my stomach?
Everyone's gut is different, so we can't promise how yours will react. What we can tell you: we made these because regular gels upset ours, and the thing customers tell us most often is that these don't. If they're not right for you, the 30-day guarantee covers it.
How many do I take?
One before or during. On long sessions, one to three an hour depending on how hard you're going. Rough maths: at hard effort you burn 60 to 90g of carbs an hour, and a gel is 27g.
Do I need water with it?
No. They're runny, not gluey, so they go down on their own. Drink if you want to, not because you have to.
Why maple?
Because maple already carries the carbs: 27g per gel in a natural 1:1 glucose-to-fructose mix. Everything a typical gel adds is there for shelf life or texture, not for you.
What about the sugar?
During exercise, carbs are the point: your working muscles burn them for energy, and if you run low you slow down. Maple's carbs come as a natural 1:1 mix of glucose and fructose.
How long do they keep?
Two years from production, best-before printed on every box and sachet. Room temperature, out of direct sun. No fridge.
Are they vegan and gluten free?
Yes, all four flavours.
